Klimber wins Gold in the Insurtech category at the Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards 2026

Buenos Aires, 25 September 2026 — Klimber, the Latin American insurtech operating in six countries, won Gold in the Insurtech category of the Qorus Innovation in Insurance Awards 2026. The awards are organized by Qorus, the global association for innovation in financial services, together with NTT DATA.

The 2026 edition received 367 submissions from 171 institutions in 50 countries. Winners were selected in ten categories, through a vote by thousands of insurance industry professionals and an evaluation by a panel of 58 senior executives from leading insurers worldwide. In the Insurtech category, Silver went to Qover (Belgium) and Bronze to COMPI (Turkey).

The jury recognized Klimber's platform, which enables companies across industries to embed insurance into their digital channels simply, without having to build their own infrastructure. Through this technology, Klimber currently protects more than 23 million people in Latin America.

“This global recognition shows that world-class insurance technology can be built from Latin America. We use AI to be more efficient, and we pass that efficiency on to the end user to drive greater access. That's how more people gain access to protection,” said Dolores Egusquiza, CMO and co-founder of Klimber.

This year's winners also include Ping An, Zurich, Chubb, Helvetia, Generali and PZU, among other leading companies in the industry.

The award adds to Klimber's recognition as “Insurtech of the Year” at the AIP Awards, which it won for the second consecutive year.
